Missionaries Of The Liturgy

Continuing our Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, today we begin to learn about the three graces of conversion:1) the grace to know our sins and detest them, 2) the grace to feel the disorder of our sins so that we turn away from them and 3) the grace to may know ‘the world’, that which is under the domain of the devil, so that we may cast away from us all that is worldly and vain.  The points in this chapter, which we will finish in our next lesson are very important.  There is much of ‘the world’ and its thinking that we have allowed to affect us and  only a humble and honest look at ourselves and our lives will help us grow in the ways of holiness.
